Question
I have an old tube screamer that is currently not working.  When plugged in, the led does not illuminate.  I have replaced the 9 volt and still nothing.  I have not tried the adaptor as I do not have one.  Any suggestions? Thanks!

if it's the stomp box you're talking about, try bypassing the switch with clip leads and see if it works then. i've seen the switches fail numerous times, if it's that, you can get replacement parts at newsensor.com, username 'eh', and password 'rocks'  if that's not your problem, get back to me... also when you open it up, check solder joints, especially at jacks.
