Question
Gday

I have a old national VCR and want to run my DVD through it because my tv is also ancent. However when i contect the dvd a/v things to the vcr, I can only watch the dvd not the tv throught the video. I have to disconncect the dvd to play a video or watch tv. is there any way i can avoid this

thaks

Answer
your vcr must have automatic line switching, any time something is plugged into the input jacks, that signal takes precedence. there are two things you can do; get a vcr without the auto input feature, second, go to radio shack (or equivalent) for an 'rf modulator', which accepts a/v signals and re-transmits them over a tv channel. hope this helps, G.....
