Question
The stereo I have in my truck says XM ready on the faceplate. It is a Pioneer DEH P44. What do I have to do to recieve XM satellite service for my truck? Do I need to purchase something extra?  What does XM ready mean?

Answer
xm ready is sattelite radio, you'll need a sattelite antenna and reciever that hooks to the audio interface jack on stereo. xm is fantastic, just go to www.xmradio.com and check it out. i've had xm for 4 years now, i don't listen to anything else now, including cd's. i believe with a pioneer stereo, you'll need a pioneer reciever.
