Question
I have a chrysler lhs and I tried installing a sony xplod head unit. The am/fm radio brings perfect sound, but the cd/mp3 just counts time with no sound. I took it back and they connected two speakers and my cds played perfectly. I returned home to the previous results. What do I need to disconnect? I'm losing cash with trips to the store and don't want to pay more for installation thats half complete.

take it back the idiot that did this installation made the mistake

in your vehicle there are infinity amplifiers that need to be turn on when the radio is on

what they are using is the blue wire from the electric antenna to turn on the amplifiers ,the problem is when you play a cd the electric antenna wire loses power to close the antenna and your amplifier is turning off  
they need to connect the blue amplifier turn on wire NOT the electric antenna wire  
i will ask for a refund or some money back for gas

the customer have to tell the installer how to do the job  
that is incredible
