Question
i have all the wires run and hookeg up properly, but i still don't have power to the amp. i checed it with a test light and it should have power. i also checked the fuses

Answer
Hi Earnie
Amp just needs the basics, this is the correct hook up, anything else, re -do.
Main power= heavy lead from large blade fuse at battery terminal positive, Negative directly to chassis as near as possible to the amp (clean bare metal) signal wire to radio 12v acc OUTPUT when on only (usually blue or blue/white). RCA front and rears to the four RCA inputs and the 8 speaker wires to the speakers with exceptions being bridged configurations for subs, (only amps marked as bridgeable though).
I prefere a seperate battery with a split charge realy on amps over 250watts.
Peter.
