Audio Systems/car radio/speakers

Question
I have a 2001 Taurus.  My sound went out.  Everything else on the radio works fine.  Clock, controls, panel....but I cannot get any sound.  Is there a fuse somewhere for the sound?  I checked all the fuses by the brake pedal but couldn't find any bad and my owner manual didn't list any fuses for the radio.  I tried the fade and balance but still no sound..thought it was just one speaker or 2 but no sound from any of them.

Answer
check your RCU  tunner box  look at all the plugs and make sure water didn't get there this box is always the problem  it is in the trunk, left side looks like this picture
