Audio Systems/clidking noise from the audio cd drive

Question
I have mazda protege 2001 and it has factory installed 1 cd changer audio.  I has worked fine since I got the car in Jan of 2006 but all of sudden, last friday when I tried to turn off the ignition off, the cd dirve kept clicking clicking and thus my son thought it was draining the battery so he took of the front panel of the audio.  When i turn on the ignition, it clicks click about 4 times then it stops.  Sometimes it clicks more before it stops. I think that when my son took off the panel he may have messed up the audio player.  What should i do?

not it is not that  the problem can be  two things
no power for constant power  there is a fuse for that in the engine compartment under backup or memory if this fuse is bad the radio still turns on and plays
or the cd is stuck inside that radio sometimes it gets stuck with no cd inside
