If the original connector on the dash harness is plugged into a conversion harness which in-turn has its wire leads connected to the aftermarket unit then you can simply unplug the aftermarket unit and return the oem plug to its respective socket on the receiver above the gas pedal. If the dash harness is cut - maybe he left the plug in the receiver and u can simply remove the receiver and match the wire colors up and splice the connector back together. If not then I could tell you which wires are what.
