Question
I have a fisher 24 cd changer stereo and I keep getting a message that says M-Error. It won't let me play a cd at all, it only spins and go to the first cd but still won't play. How to I clean the stereo? Or how do I get rid of the M-Error and make it play cds?

Answer
i think m-error means there's a mechanical problem, either foreign debris causing mechanisim to jam, or there's a loading component (probably a rubber drive belt) slipping, causing the error. i would suggest taking it to a shop as the mechanisim is very complicated, and just improper disassembely can cause extensive, non repairable damage.
