Question
I have replaced the factory radio with a pioneer. the new radio has power but the sound comes on and off at will. Inoticed what appears to be another component of the original system under the left rear seat. Is it possible that this component has gone bad, because I tried to put the original radio back in and still had the same result. I don't think is is in the wires from the radio as I used a special wire kit to connect the new radio. Any advice would be grately appreciated.

Answer
it can be the ground or the remote wire blue wire form pioneer radio
