Question
QUESTION: I am not sure if you can help me, but I am thinking about putting in a cd deck in my 2006 Ford Taurus SE sedan and have been reading some reviews on Circuit City and Best Buy that customers have left. And have read about some problems that others have had. Will installing a cd deck with the kit needed, interfere with the air bag system since the airbag light is on the panel where the factory stereo is at? I have read that the airbag light will stay on on the instrument panel. But I am more concerned that the airbags will not work. Any info you may be able to give me will be appreciated.

ANSWER: that is correct the light will stay  on and the airbags stop working  what we do here is we remove all the airbag light parts from the factory radio and drill a hole on the new radio kit and  the problem is solve
we charge $250.00 for labor and parts to replace the radio

why you want to replace the radio ?

QUESTION: Hi, thanks for answering so fast. The reason I want to replace the factory stereo is because I would like a cd player in there. The only thing it has now is a cassette. After reading your response, would just getting a cd changer be better? I noticed on the panel that there is a disc button on there. Does that mean it is already setup to hook up a cd changer?

Answer
