Question
I have a 99 Dodge Durango and i am trying to install an Alpine stereo. I have everything wired up to a quick connect harness. I noticed when I took the factory stereo out there is an internal amplifier wire plugged in. I put in the new stereo and no power. I put the ground wire to the internal amp wire and have power but no sound. What do I need to do??

Answer
YOU NEED to find the infinity amplifier remove it and use the wires to install your radio  you can not use the factory wires

or you can find the power of that amplifier and trun it on there is a relay on the right side of the radio location for that

good luck
