i have an onkyo reciever that no longer lights up.all the buttons work and the sound still works,i just cant see what is on.

if it has a flourescent type display, you probably have bad solder connections at the display pins. otherwise, the lamps can be replaced, but you have to get one out to match it up. if you don't have any electronic experience, i strongly suggest letting a shop do it. good luck...
