Question
i have a 99 chevy silverado and the battery ran dead it has a factory stereo with cd and cassette player and it has LOC on the display witch is a security feature i bought it used so i dont have the code to turn it back on what do i do

Try this,
Press & hold the 2 & 3 buttons @ the same time for about 10 seconds; a 2 or 3 digit code will appear, write this # down,press & hold the am/fm button for about 10 seconds: another code will appear, write this # down, then call 1-888-231-0395 the code will cost you $25.00 from them in a couple of minutes
or call your dealer they charge $25.00 to $70.00 and take a day to get your code
