Audio Systems/radio repair

Question
I have an AM/FM cassette radio on my boat.  All of a sudden it just stopped working.  The clock on the LED readout works fine but when you turn the power knob on the raido, the LED goes black and the radio doesn't work.  Any idea what this might be ?  I check the fuse and it appears to be fine.

Answer
more than likely the mechanical contact parts of the switch have corroded. most of the time, it's really not worth the effort to replace it. if you can get the unit apart enough to have access to the switch, some good quality contact cleaner and lube might help for a while...
