Question
My son has a system in his car and is having the following problem. there is no power getting to the subs. He has been having problems with his cd player cutting out from time to time. when he first got the cd player installed it had a feature that enabled him to control the power to the subs but now the cd player does not give him that option. does the cd player control whether or not the subs work. the amp seems to be fine. It looks like it's on and the subs are brand new. the old subs did not work either. Can you shed some light on this.

Thanks,

Rick

Answer
cutting out has caused the problem, make sure stereo wiring is ok first, then find and press the master reset button, then the menus will be correct again. but you must find why the stereo is intermittantly cutting off, even if you end up running a power wire for the stereo directly to battery.
