Audio Systems/How do I remove a 2003 Accord radio?

Question
Just looking for some advise on how to remove my 2003 car stereo from the dash.

Answer
Hi Russel,
It really would be best left to an installer as it is built in, BUT if you are feeling brave then you have to remove the control knobs and securing screws on the centre facia and remove it, behind this you will see the radio is fitted into a frame, this needs to be unscrewed and removed, once free you can unhook the wiring, the radio is then fitted by screws in the side. You can either install the new on in the same manner if it has side fittings too or get an adaptor kit for the dash for standard ISO DIN cages. An adaptor harness from Honda to ISO DIN is also normaly needed, (check out ebay or www.autotoys.com)
