Question
I was wondering why everytime i put a cd into my sony car cd player is says please eject?

Answer

Sounds flippant but,,, I think the head unit is duff!
Could be a number of things if it does it on a selection of CDs that were working O.K. before.

CD mechanism faulty,
Cd mechanism could be blocked by debris such as part of a label from a home burnt CD.
Reader head not able to seat on CD due to dirt, etc.

If on site I would remove the unit, take off the cover and do a visual check of the mechanism then if I don't see anything foreign in the guts of the thing, I would connect it up to the harness, insert a CD and see what is happening,

Is the CD going all the way in?
Is the reading laser head moving when the CD is inserted?
Is the CD seating down, (clamped) on the reader?
Is it spinning up and finding track zero?

If all that fails to produce an answer then it’s either off the repair shop or check out local shops or ebay for a replacement, be.

Hope that helps, Peter
