I have a 1993 dodge Grand Caravan with an Infinity speaker system. A number of years ago the factory installed tape deck stopped working. I purchased a new Jensen (I think) tape deck and was having trouble getting all the speakers to function properly. I recall cutting a few wires by the speakers and everything started working great. After a few more years that tape deck stopped working so I purchased an original chrysler tape deck that was compatible with the original. It also worked fine. Now I purchased (on Ebay) 2 Chrysler tape/cd players and on each one I can't get the frony speakers to work. When I install the non cd player the front speakers work. I am pretty sure that the problem is not with the unit but with the speakers. I still have unconnected cut wires around the speakers but I can't seem to pinpoint the problem. Any ideas?

fix all the wires plugs back to factory  
on the right side of the radio there are two relays that turn on 4 of the 8 speakers you have in that car the other 4 always run with the radio
and there are 4 amplifiers one behind each speaker
check the relays first
