Question
Help..  I have been feeling dizzy for the past week, get very congested one minute with a sensation of ear pain and fullness.  It feels like the area around my eyes and nose are swollen with a little tingling.  hearing alot of buzzing noises in my ear.  my entire head just feels heavy.  Feels like my ears are blocked but they are completely clear, drums pink and intact (had a nurse look).
then the next minute my nose is running(this usually lasts for about 20min, then right back to congestion)  Makes me feel kinda crazy.  what can i do?  Please give me some advise.

Answer
Hi Lori,
From your description, it sounds as if you may have a sinus infection/inflammation.  The treatment for this is to see an ear-nose-throat specialist (ENT) and have your hearing evaluated by an Audiologist. Normal eardrums are pearly grey, not pink, so that in itself is a sign of inflammation. The ENT has the ability to look into the sinuses and the ears and determine the cause of your symptoms and appropriate treatment.
Hope this helps.
