Question
Hi  sometimes when I'm watching TV a sound that I know that the TV made sounds like its coming from somewhere eslse.  This doesn't happen with just one TV . But only certain tones.  Is this a hearing problem or something with how I'm processing the sound?  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Victor,
This is a very interesting question.  Does this only happen with the TV(s) or do you have any problems with any other sounds, like hearing from which direction a car is coming?  This may be a problem with localization, that is, knowing from which direction a sound is coming.  In general, problems with localization are due to hearing loss and/or faulty sound processing.  My best advice is for you to start by having your hearing evaluated by an audiologist.

Hope this helps.
