Question
{17 year old from asia} when I was a child I had a problem with my right ear (all I can remember is it was a wax problem) and its painful, my parents did not pay attention to it but put some oil thing in it. years later I noticed that my right ear is weak of hearing. It produces green substance that today is brownish (4 years ago it bleeded).Do I have hope for restoring my right ear?

thank you for answering.

Answer
Hello,
It sounds very possibly that you have wax and/or fungal and bacterial buildup in your ear. Although placing oil in the ear is a home remedy for removing wax, I believe at this point there is too great a buildup in your ear.  You really need to see a physician, an ear specialist if possible, who can clean out the ear, and pack it with antibiotics.  Hopefully that should restore most of your hearing.  Please understand, that the longer this goes untreated, the more damage will be done.
Hope this helps.
