Question
Hi,
recently i went to ER,bec.of sudden change in my heart beat(abnormally fast)and then I felt that I'm shaking and dizziness or lightheadedness...I thought I was gonna die.I had also stiff neck...I'm an MRI technician and working with a strong magnetic field.I've been feeling dizzy or lightheaded for almost 3 months all the time...I feel lightheaded and then I feel that i can't breath and I get claustrophobic suddenly...sometimes i have a sharp pain in my ear.I had mri done of my brain and everything was normal! what is your opinion?

Answer
Hi Lalageh,
There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of reasons for the symptoms you describe. My opinion is that the MRI only ruled out one reason.  You need to be fully evaluated by a cardiologist, a neurologist and an otolaryngologist. You might even try an endocrinologist.  Three months of almost constant dizziness and lightheadedness is too long to have waited to be evaluated.
Hope this helps.
