Question
I am 35.

I read about palatal myoclonus, and I am not sure about spasms in the inner ear, or my palate or throat area as I have read the medical description online, but I will defiantly discuss that test, and I appreciate your help, and this outlet online for people like me that need answers, direction and peace of mind. Do you know what I should ask a neurologist to look for exactly?  I have heard that chiropractors may be able to help with TMJ, and ETD, what is your opinion of that if any?

Answer
Hi Catherine,
Chiropracters expertise is in spinal manipulation. I would suggest you first consult with your ENT and/or dentist and have them evaluate the ETD and TMJ.  As far as talking to the neurologist, just tell him your symptoms and suspicions.  He will take it from there.
Hope this helps.
