Question I am 40 years old. Last June I had a dizzy feeling and it was determined to be due to wax build up in the right year. I went to see an ENT who sucked the Wax out (minor surgery as it was called) About a week ago it felt that I couldn't hear well in right ear again. It feels full of fluid what is the possible diagnosis. I asked a doctor friend to look at it and she said there is no wax built up or visible fluid.
Please help
Thanks
Answer Hi GC,
There are so many possible diagnoses...middle ear fluid, eustachian tube dysfunction, nerve damage, fluid build-up in the inner ear, etc.
You need to consult an audiologist to have your hearing evaluated and then follow-up with an ear specialist/ENT. That is the only way to know for sure what the problem is.
Hope this helps.
