Question I am 47 year old female, I am feeling imense noise in my one year and I am not able to hear anytjing from that ear.
I consulted an ent doctor, he get all the tests done and told this is the problem of sinusites, i was operated for that. But I didnt find any improvement in my ear.
I went back to him. Thn my hearing test was done and it showed that my nerves are weak and I would never be able to hear from that ear. become negligible.
But now my hearing power has become negligible, and along with this I am feeling tremendoud nooise in my ear. Regular headaches and, tired ness.
Please suggest.
Answer Hi Neha,
If your ENT only did a hearing test, then he did not do a complete evaluation. With the symptoms that you described, you need a complete neurological workup, including an MRI. Therefore, I suggest that you consult a neurologist and/or an oto-neurologist - an ear doctor that specializes in the ear and brain nerves. If there is nothing medically wrong, you may wish to consider a trial with a hearing aid.
Hope this helps.
