Question
Help.  Two weeks ago, I was sneezing and coughing and being a Diabetic and a High Blood Pressure Patient took Sudafed PE which helped, but now I have what I describe as a constant like air hizzing in both ears and the left is more stopped up then the right.  I went to see my Cardiologist 5 days ago for a stress test, and I told her of this stopped up feeling - she Rx'd me with Claritin, taken once daily.  So I have been on this stuff for 5 days and it is still driving me crazy, I have tried holding my nose and blowing out, my right ear pops but the left will not - What can I do?  Please help me.....

Answer
Hi Paul,
You need to see an ENT - not a cardiologist - for your ear problems.  The ENT and an audiologist are the only professionals qualified to evaluate and diagnose the problems that you are describing with your ears.

Hope this helps,
