Question
the other night i fell asleep hearing just fine but when i woke up i noticed my left ear was kinda deaf and muffled  i can still hear out of it just not as well
what could this be? and how do i treat it or how long will it take to come back....btw im 16 if that helps...and a male

Hi John,
Sudden hearing loss of any type is a medical emergency.  It may be something like an ear infection or it may be something more complicated.  You need to consult your physician immediately.
