Question
Dear Harriet,
i woke up today to find some dried crusty blood in my left ear. and as i clean it there were some non dry blood.
i feel no pain but some pressure in my left ear.
as this is the first time to happen to me, can you advise me what to do.
FYI, i'm 26 male, smoker and nt really into sport

Hi Mark,
Blood in the ear is not a good sign.  It can be something as simple as a scratched canal or as complicated as a burst eardrum and infection.

You need to consult an ear doctor immediately.
