Question
hello, i am experienceing hearing distortion in both ears after attending a club at about 12am-2:30am i dont club often at all i have about 3 times in my life and those are all almost a year apart from eachother. my hearing distortion is mainly noticable with olny music. i had tinnitus<? the ear ringing, but thats going away i am not haveing trouble hearing...its just distorted. what can i do? will this heal up?

Answer
Hi Mathew,
Hearing loss after a concert - especially when no ear protection is used - is not uncommon.  The problem usually clears up in around 72 hours.  However, the more noise you are exposed to, the harder it is for your ears to recover.

If you are still experiencing distortion, you need to consult an ENT and have your hearing checked by an audiologist.

Hope this helps.
