I to have tis fluterring in my right ear. I find chewing gum helps also taling a antihistamine also helps at time. Any further alvise would be melcome.

I went to a doctor and I had ear infection....all is gone for a year now and I still have fluttering in my right ear!

Thanks Ginny! That helped me out...I had it bad today and know that allergies were a contributing factor for me. I made my ears pop by closing my nose and mouth and blowing out...problem fixed. Mine was bad too...time for an earway cleanout I suppose

I had the same symptoms...right down to the length of time between flutters!  I put some warm olive oil in the ear and it stopped immediately -- even when the oil ran out.  It lasted for about three hours.  I will try it again tonight when I go to bed.  It makes me think it is some sort of spasm.
