Question
Dear Don Sadler,
What are the career opportunities to gain for being an auditor? Is the income good? How significant is Certified Bank Auditor (CBA)? Which is better ACCA or CPA?

Answer
CPA is the best certification you can obtain. Each industry has certification particular to that discipline – CBA, for example.  It is worth your while to obtain the certifications relevant to your chosen field.

Income depends on the economy and region.  In US dollars, a typical mid-level auditor makes something between $40,000 – $90,000 – a big range but it just depends on so many thongs. You might take a look at www.glassdoor.com for more personalized salary information as reported by individuals.
