Question
Hello:
I'm not sure if you can help me with this issue but I will try anyway. I was wondering if you know of any free websites that offer information on a company's earnings, profits, losses etc. I have found a number of these sites but they cost $100 or more to join. There must be some free sites out there. I am not looking for detailed info, just some basic information.

I'm not sure I fully understand your question... or what your end goal is but two things come to mind.
1) A number of internet portals offer this information. here is link to a yahoo page showing Microsoft info... http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=MSFT&d=t You can scroll around and see analysts opinions, earnins reports, etc. Also, here ia Yahoo stock research site... http://biz.yahoo.com/r/
2) if you have abrokerage account with an on-line broker they usually offer free research tools.
