Hi,
I am in NZ since last 6 years and got a job offered in Perth, I am listening scary stories about snakes, spiders and house fly etc ? Is weather in perth normally hot ? how safe it is to let children play in school grounds or in the back yard ?

There are several hundred thousand people who live and survive in the area so conditions can't be too bad.  There are more snakes and spiders on the east side, like QLD.  People keep dogs there so the temperature can't be too hot.  Whose been giving you all these  scare stories?  Go on the WA web site and check out the conditions.  One thing it doesn't rain as much as it does in NZ and it doesn't snow or get freezing cold in the winter.
