AnswerG'day Nora,
The major eastern cities of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne would be the best places to start looking at. Those cities will offer the best opportunities for employment. All of those cities have lots of sunshine. Once you got established, it would be easy for you to to travel to areas and find a place you enjoy living. Sydney is very busy, great place to visit, but I find it very fast paced. Melbourne is similar, but has a better public transport system. It odes get very cold and rainy at times. Brisbane is the smallest of the cities, but it has a lot warmer climate, but does get very humid, which some people do not like. Brisbane, is the 2nd fastest growing city in the world at the moment, and has lots of infrastructure happening at the moment. It is however causing problems with peak hour traffic, and will be the same until tunnels and bridges are completed.
So, if you like hustle and bustle, go for Sydney. If you like colder weather, but a city with plenty to do, go for Melbourne. If you like hot humid summers, with a growing city, pick Brisbane.
I am happy to answer any more questions that you have.
Regards,
Frank
