Question
Hi Frank - I will be relocating from Colorado, USA, to Brisbane (Darra) to be exact as this is where my office will be.  I am 44, single, outgoing, athletic, and love anything outdoors (especially the water and scenery that goes with it)where would you recommend living for a guy with this these qualities that wishes to meet females and friends, with same interests. My income is high.

Thanks.
Ted

Answer
G'day Ted,
I hope your relocation goes well.
Darr is a western suburb of Brisbane, about 15km from the CBD. It is very much an industrial area, and not a place I would choose to live.

The suburbs to look at, close to Darra would be - Milton, Auchenflower, Taringa, Toowong, Bardon, Rosalie, Indooroopilly Chelmer Graceville.  Your other option is to but in a high rise in the city. It would take no time to get to darra, and you would meet more people.

Regards,
Frank

Expertise

I have lived in Brisbane all my life (53 years). I am very proud of our city and the Sunshine State of Queensland. I am happy to help in any way possible. Queensland is a very humid and hot place in Summer, which makes it great for outdoor fun.

Experience

I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.
