Question
we are looking to emigrate from UK what job opportunities are there for general electricians. Also where would you recommend to live we will be renting at first but have 3 boys aged 5, 3 and 4mths so would like somewhere quite but near beach
Hi Janice,
I can only answer for Brisbane in regards to job oportunities. Brisbane is in a boom, and there is a big need for any type of tradesman, so electricians would have no problem finding work.
The suburbs around Redcliffe would be suitable. It is quiet, has beaches, and less than an hour from the Sunshine coast. The beaches at Redcliffe are not the ones with pure whit sand like the Sunshine coast, but the kids would love them.
Try www.realestate.com.au for renting and house prices. Check out the suburbs of Redclifffe, Suttons Beach, Clontarf, Woody Point, Kippa Ring, Scarborough.
