hi,
My friend and i are going to Cairns or Brisbane depending on the weather. We were wondering if Cairns would be warmer considering it is more North. Is there a city out going life style there at night? thank you for your time

The weather in Cairns will be a lot warmer than Brisbane during winter. The winter is actually Cairns peak season time, because during summer the weather is very hot and also the stingers are out during summer.
Cairns is fairly quiet, and I would not say it has an out going lifestlye compared to Brisbane. The town of Airlie beach in the Whitsundays is beautiful, and has lot of action at night. I would visit Cairns, but if you have time, drop in to Airlie Beach, you will love it.
