g'day Frank,
 i am new to sydney and am looking for some advice on some topics :

I will be based out of West Ryde [ Ryde City]

1.Which sub urb near to West Ryde can I find Indian communities and also the sub urb needs to be safe as well with a low cost of living , being far from CBD is ok with me
2.What will the approximate rent for a 2 Bed room furnished home or
apartment be ? and how do i get in touch with the real estate agents
around that sub urb ?
3.How difficult is it to get a NSW Drivers license [ i have an international Drivers license in englosh ]
4.which are the good places to hang out around West Ryde - Ryde over
the wekends?
5.Is there is a particualr place in sydney that the Indian festivals and other parties happen ?
6.will be great if you can lead me to other similar forums
