Question
Dear Michelle Mangio,

I am a oversea student and I am living and studying in Brisbane, Australia. My nationality is Vietnamese. I want to visit New Zealand for 10 days on my holiday. Could you tell me if I have to get a New Zealand visa for my visit. How much do I have to pay for that visa (for 3 people: I, my wife and my 5.5 year old)?

Thank you for your anwser in advanced.

Answer
As a Vietnamese Citizen, you do need to obtain a Visa for visiting New Zealand, unless you have an Australian Permanent Resident Visa.  Within Australia, you can apply with the Australian Immigration Office, and the cost is about $120 AUD per person.

Hope this helps!
