Question
We will be arriving in Christ Church on October 19th and traveling in the south island until the 26th.  Then we fly to Melbourne (3 nights); 2 nights driving the great ocean road; 2 nights Kangaroo Island and then onto Sydney on November 3 and leaving on the 7th.  What kind of weather (Fahrenheit) should we expect throughout our trip and what kind of dress should we plan on?  Thank you

Hi Annette -

You can plan for temperatures of around the mid 70s to 80s during the day.

Shorts will be more than comfortable during the day, and a light pair of slacks will probably enough for the night time.  I would suggest bringing along a sping jacket just incase. a night might drop.  October/November in Australia is a lot like May/June in the US.
