Australia/would like to relocate

Question
I have a 7 year old with autism. What programs are available and in what areas. We moved to Florida from Pennsylvania for the schools and it was a good move but would like to know if Australia has something better to offer.
Also I currently own a small breakfast and lunch place American Diner(very good food)! Would there be an intrest in a part of the country more than others! Ideally near a school that would be able to mainstream my autistic son!
Thank you so much I love the idea that I can get real information from real people!

Answer
Hi Tammy,
The food industry in Australia is very competitive, A lot of new food places close with in the first 12 months.

I have no exposure to school programs for children with autism.

I can not help much except to offer the websites of the education departments in Queensland and Australia.

Queensland Education - http://education.qld.gov.au/
Australian Government - http://www.australia.gov.au/Education_&_Training

Expertise

I have lived in Brisbane all my life (53 years). I am very proud of our city and the Sunshine State of Queensland. I am happy to help in any way possible. Queensland is a very humid and hot place in Summer, which makes it great for outdoor fun.

Experience

I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.
