Question
hi.i just wanted to ask how is the weather in australia in august.like can we visit all kind of places...sydney,melbourne,gold coast n many other places?...

Answer
The only place you get extreme weather regularly in Australia is way up north where cyclones come every year.  Other than that the weather should not be extreme.
In fact, August summons in the onset of spring and it is usually very mild in the three places you mentioned.
Bear in mind that the water in Sydney and Melbourne is a bit cold for swimming in that month but should be Ok in the Gold Coast.
Also bear in mind that the distances are huge in Australia (not sure where you are coming from) and be careful not to spend too much time travelling like most tourists.  Better to spend more time concentrated in just a couple of areas in my experience.
Whatever you decide, have a nice time.
