About Frank Denison
Expertise
I have lived in Brisbane all my life (49 years). I am very proud of our city and the Sunshine State of Queensland. I am happy to help in any way possible. Queensland is a very humid and hot place in Summer, which makes it great for outdoor fun.

Experience
I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.

Question
QUESTION: Hi Frank,

I am looking to re-locate my family to Brisbane in the new year and I would appreciate your thoughts on the following. I will be looking to establish a Commercial Cleaning company and I have come to the conclusion that it may be wiser to live in Surfers Paradise as opposed to the Sunshine Coast as it is more convenient to Brisbane City and would I be right saying that there is more construction South of the City as opposed to North?

Hope the above makes sense and many thanks in advance!

Regards,

Jason

ANSWER: Hi Jason,
The whole south east area has a lot of construction. South of the city has  no more than the north. You are correct saying Surfers Paradise is more convenient to Brisbane City.

If you intend working in Brisbane, I would suggest you settle in Brisbane.  The peak hour traffic to and from each coast can be very tiresome.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Frank

QUESTION: Last question please Frank. Would it be feasable to establish ourselves on the Sunshine Coast - Maroochydore...are there many Commercial hubs and Construction areas nearby to your knowledge?

I intend to fly over PRIOR to our move..any advice is appreciated.

Thanks again

Jason

Answer
Hi Jason,
Maroochydore would be good to setup as there is a big commercial base as well as a lot of construction. Flying over before would give you a good feel for the place and you may even be able to find some local contacts to help you.

Regards,
Frank
