Question
Hi Patrick, i am 35 years old, i want to emigrate to Australia. I have since no age realize that i don't want to settle in my birthplace Ireland, but i am passed the age to get a working permit the only way i know for to get a visa is either get a skill or study in Australia with a student visa. Is there any chance of me getting a holiday visa? Well i hope to hear from you soon! yours sincerely Deirdre, Ireland.

Answer
You will be able to get a holiday visa to do exactly that - a holiday - you will not have work rights on a holiday visa.  You will also have to show exactly where you are staying and prove adequate funds for the length of your stay.

I would suggest contacting a Migration Specialist in Australia to see what you may qualify for.

Cheers,
Patrick
