Australia/Sunshine Coast

Question
Hello,
We are moving to the sunshine coast soon.Currently living in Leafy Surrey. Please can you reccomend some areas. My husband wants a lake/river view(My mother lives in Gippsland lakes VIC. but too cold and too far from a major city for me).
Ideally we would like some privacy-small acreage or even a house surrounded by trees! ie not  lots of treeless blocks next to each other!close to the coast and not too far from Brisbane.
Buderim seems nice but no CLOSE water views. Yes I know it's a hard one but there must be somewhere suitable?
Many thanks
Eva

Answer
G'day Eva,
It is funny you mention Buderim, because that is the suburb that gets as close to what you want. Parts of Buderim will have water views, and also other parts will have acerage. Parts of Twin waters, Mudjimba, Bli Bli, Cotton Tree would also be suitable.

I would suggest Buderim will be the best spot.

Regards,
Frank

Expertise

I have lived in Brisbane all my life (53 years). I am very proud of our city and the Sunshine State of Queensland. I am happy to help in any way possible. Queensland is a very humid and hot place in Summer, which makes it great for outdoor fun.

Experience

I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.
