I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.

Question
hi,
i am 21 y.o and I will visite Brisbane for the very first time in January !!! i am so excited !
After that, I would like to go to Lady Elliott island but I don't understand how to go there !!! If I book a flight, which city is it from Brisbane ? I mean which airport is the closest and then How do i arrive in the Island ? Should I rather rent a car instead of flying ?
Thank you very much for your answer, I am lost !!!
bye

Answer
Hi Morgane,
You can get to Lady Elliot Island from Brisbane Airport or Gold Coast Airport. You can rent a car and drive from Brisbane, but you still have to get over to the island.

I think it would be easier just flying direct to Lay Elliot Island.

If you go to the link below, and type in Lady Elliot Island in the search box, you will a lot of info.

If you need any more assistance, just contact me again. Happy to help in any way I can.

Regards,
Frank
