not in the middle of nowhere i like to be near a somewhat big city but i also like lots of forest like places to go to relax with friends.
i want somewhere where theres plenty of teens and parties.

There are a lot of good places in Australia, but I am not sure if all the things you mention exist at one location.
Brisbane has beaches an hour north(Sunshine Coast) and south (Gold Coast, which have great surfing beaches.
If Brisbane is too big, I suggest you settle on one of the coasts, and my choice would be the Sunshine Coast. Both coasts have a lot of nightlife, and I think you would fit right in there.
