Question
Hi Frank,

How are you? My name is Devi and I am 22 years old. I am a freshly graduated Registered Nurse from Perth, WA and I got an offer to work in Queensland next year. The agency asked me about where I want to work in queensland. I am considering of somewhere in Queensland where the weather is not humid and raining all the time ( I've lived in Indonesia most of my life and I prefer not to have the same kind of weather). I don't want to work too remote and would like to work somewhere where it's not too far from the city. I also would like to find a place where the rent is not too expensive and safe.

Thanks very much for your help and looking forward to hear from you.

Kind Regards,

Devi Juliana

Answer
Hi Devi,
The weather in Queensland is humid for at least 6 months of the year. If there is a "long' summer, you may find it humid for longer.

If the weather is a concern, I would not recommend moving to Queensland.

If you did move, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast would be suitable, as they are not remote and not far from the city.

If you decide to move, contact me again and I will suggest some exact locations.

Regards,
Frank

Expertise

I have lived in Brisbane all my life (53 years). I am very proud of our city and the Sunshine State of Queensland. I am happy to help in any way possible. Queensland is a very humid and hot place in Summer, which makes it great for outdoor fun.

Experience

I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.
