we are moving from manningtree UK to somewhere near Brisbane as im a builder (need work) we have a 3 year old so(good schools), i lived in Sydney for 5 years and loved the beach life,surf, community. Ideally we would like some privacy-small acreage, close to the coast and not too far from Brisbane

Only a few places would meet your criteria, and they are Burpenpengary,Morayfield, Caboolture, Elimbah. They are between 45 mins and and hour to the Brisbane, and about 40 mins to the Sunshine Coast which has great beaches.
